Actor Han Hyo-joo has lent her support to the fight against hunger.

Han recently donated 50 million won (about $32,700) to international relief organization JTS (Join Together Society), according to industry sources Friday. The funds will go toward combating hunger and expanding education opportunities for children around the world.

Han has also taken her commitment beyond financial giving, joining the Gilbeot JTS Street Fundraising Campaign held in Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, in May to raise awareness for the cause in person.

In addition, she has consistently supported those in need — donating 50 million won to aid single mothers at a dedicated facility and another 50 million won to victims of severe flooding.

Meanwhile, Han is preparing to begin filming for Disney+'s "Moving 2" and a new MBC drama series, "Your Ground."

"Moving 2," the sequel to the hit Disney+ series, recently began production with key cast members from the original — including Ryu Seung-ryong, Han, Jo In-sung and Go Youn-jung — joined by newcomers Seol Kyung-gu and Lee Hee-jun. The new season will follow the superpowered characters as they return to ordinary life, only to face a new crisis that forces them to fight again to protect the people they love.
