Daewoo Engineering & Construction will hold an unranked apartment subscription for remaining units at Cheongju Prugio Cielite on Monday.

Applications will be accepted through the Apartment Subscription Home portal. Residents of North Chungcheong Province aged 19 or older who do not own a home are eligible to apply regardless of whether they hold a housing subscription account. Winners will be announced June 11, with contracts to be signed June 18.

Located in Mipyeong-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, the complex is being developed as part of the Bunpyeong-Mipyeong district urban development project. It will comprise 10 buildings rising from two below-ground floors to 29 above-ground floors, with exclusive use areas ranging from 84 to 114 square meters across a total of 1,351 units.

The unranked subscription covers 270 units: 47 of the 84㎡A type, 14 of the 84㎡B type, 32 of the 84㎡C type, 73 of the 114㎡A type, 74 of the 114㎡B type, and 30 of the 114㎡C type.

A flat initial deposit of 10 million won (approximately $6,620) applies. The complex is drawing interest from end-users as neither an owner-occupancy requirement nor resale restrictions will apply.

The Bunpyeong-Mipyeong district spans roughly 127,700 square meters and will share the existing lifestyle amenities of the Bunpyeong residential area. The surrounding Dongnam, Bangseo and Bunpyeong 2 districts are also slated for residential development, with a broader southwest residential belt expected to take shape over time. Retail options are well established — residents will have access to E-mart Cheongju, Nonghyup Hanaro Club Bunpyeong and Homeplus Cheongju, along with nearby medical facilities including Chungbuk National University Hospital and Hankook Hospital.

The complex offers convenient access to Cheongju's major areas via the First, Second and Third Ring Roads, as well as to industrial complexes housing SK Hynix, LG Chem and LS Electric, and to the Osong and Ochang corridors. Nearby green spaces include Gaeshin Reservoir Sports Park, Jamdubong Park and the Musimcheon stream, while development of Guryong Neighborhood Park — covering roughly 280,000 square meters — is also underway.

The buildings are oriented primarily to the south and feature a four-bay flat-slab design, with dedicated pantry and walk-in closet spaces. The 114-square-meter units include a family room and an alpha room for added flexibility. Community facilities will include a 25-meter indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness center, golf practice range and a greenery café.

A model home is open in Bunpyeong-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju. Move-in is scheduled for March 2029.
