Lotte Mart will hold its "Tongkeun Day" sale from Wednesday through Sunday, offering up to 50 percent discounts on key food items including samgyeopsal and watermelon.

Tongkeun Day is the retailer's monthly signature discount event, held once a month this year at Lotte Mart and Lotte Super locations. On Saturday, the chain will sell a "Tongkeun watermelon" weighing at least 6 kilograms for 9,990 won with a participating card. The offer is limited to 10,000 units, with a one-per-customer limit.

At the meat counter, samgyeopsal and pork collar (each 100 grams) — sold under the "Kkeutdwae" label — will go for 990 won per pack, limited to two packs per customer with a participating card. First-grade-plus Hanwoo sirloin (1++ rating, 100 grams) will be discounted 50 percent with a participating card. On Saturday, pork shoulder (100 grams) will be offered to L.Point members at a one-day special price of 990 won.

Seafood will also be available at up to half price. Live lobster and Wando abalone will be discounted 50 percent with a participating card, while Norwegian fresh salmon will be 40 percent off for L.Point members. Seven varieties of Pulmuone and Ottogi naengmyeon and spicy chewy noodles, along with all Häagen-Dazs pint products, will be offered on a buy-one-get-one basis.

A range of collaboration products will also go on sale. Featured items include exclusive limited-edition releases tied to popular virtual idol group Stellive — "Milkis Zero X Stellive" and "Crown Butter Waffle X Stellive," each packaged with a random Stellive photo card. The retailer will also carry 10 varieties of Samlip Pokémon bread featuring special 30th-anniversary Pokémon sticker seals.
