Event set for July 4 at district office auditorium — open to all residents with an interest in Guro
Lifestyle proposals to be developed into 2027 public-private governance projects
Guro-gu is recruiting participants for a major public forum aimed at identifying projects for its 2027 public-private governance initiative.
The forum is designed to bring together residents and local government to identify community issues and develop them into concrete public-private cooperation projects. The district plans to channel residents' everyday concerns into policy proposals and use the deliberation process to uncover practical governance initiatives.
The forum will be held July 4 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium on the fifth floor of the Guro-gu district office. It is open to any resident with an interest in Guro, as well as people who work in the area, with around 100 spots available.
Participants will review Guro-gu's current conditions, strengths and weaknesses together, then work under the guidance of expert instructors and facilitators to identify local issues and draft proposals.
Proposals generated that day will go through follow-up small-group forums and review by relevant project departments before being developed into 2027 public-private governance projects.
