Yangcheon-gu will hold a "November visit king" event throughout November at eight Seoul-type kids cafes in the district, targeting families with young children.

The event is designed to promote indoor play spaces where children can run and play safely regardless of the weather as winter approaches, and to encourage families to explore kids cafes across the district at affordable rates.

The event runs from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30 at eight locations: the Sinjeong 7-dong branch (inside Galsan Park Children's Traffic Park), the Sinjeong 7-dong No. 2 branch (Yangcheon-gu Child Care Town), the Sintree Park branch, the Mok 3-dong branch (Mokdong Ggebi Market Community Center), the Mok 4-dong branch (Moksarang Market Community Center), the Omok Park branch, the Sinwol 5-dong branch (Sinwol 5-dong Community Service Center) and the Sinwol 7-dong branch (Haemaji History Library).

Participation is straightforward. Families reserve a spot at their preferred kids cafe through the Woori Dongne Kium Portal, visit the facility and scan the QR code on-site, then log a visit stamp on the event's dedicated website.

Cumulative visit counts will be tallied across November to crown a "visit king" at each kids cafe, with prizes awarded to first-, second- and third-place finishers. To ensure fair participation, each child may register only one account, and only one stamp per day will be counted.

The event is open to children aged 0 to 9 and their guardians. Age requirements and operating hours vary by location, so visitors are advised to check details through the Woori Dongne Kium Portal or the Yangcheon-gu Comprehensive Child Care Support Center before heading out.

The district has been consistently expanding its public play and child care facilities — opening its first integrated child care complex, Yangcheon-gu Child Care Town, last year, and adding three new Seoul-type kids cafes this year. The 11 currently operating Seoul-type kids cafes have drawn about 97,000 visitors this year alone, reflecting strong and steady demand from residents. The district plans to open an additional branch at Gangwol Children's Park in the first half of next year, continuing its expansion of child-friendly play environments.

"I hope this event gives families a chance to visit kids cafes they have never been to before, enjoy a variety of activities and create special memories together," Yangcheon-gu District Mayor Lee Gi-jae said. "We will continue to develop diverse play spaces tailored to children and build a child care environment the whole family can enjoy."
