Seocho-gu in Seoul will hold the 2026 Seocho Community Center Fair from Monday through Friday.

Now in its 21st year, the fair serves as a celebration where students enrolled in community center programs share the skills and achievements they have built over the course of the year with fellow residents.

From Monday through Friday, an exhibition of student works will be held in the first-floor lobby of the district office until 6 p.m. each day. A total of 141 pieces will be on display, ranging from paintings — including watercolors, oil paintings and calligraphy — to craft works such as ceramics and leather goods.

On the fair's final day, Friday, a showcase performance will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the art hall on the first floor of the Seocho Culture and Arts Center. Students took part in every aspect of the production, from planning performances to designing costumes and staging. The program will feature acoustic guitar and harmonica performances, Korean traditional dance, contemporary dance, nanta drumming, children's ballet and poetry recitation. Students ranging from children to adults will take the stage to display their talents, while residents from each neighborhood will join as cheering sections, creating a celebration that bridges generations and communities.

Last year, the district introduced the Aion Trophy — a name carrying the meaning that "the time of art flows on without end" — awarded for the first time to the top-performing neighborhood. This year, the trophy will again be passed on to the winning neighborhood, continuing the artistic tradition that residents have built together.

"The Seocho Community Center Fair is a meaningful occasion for residents to share the fruits of their learning, connect with one another and come together in harmony," Seocho-gu District Mayor Jeon Seong-su said. "We will work even harder to help community centers grow beyond spaces for learning and communication into places where culture and the arts take root."
