China accounts for 23.5% of total bookings, ranking second
Yeohangiji to expand high-end China products
Kyowon Tour's travel brand Yeohangiji said Friday it will expand its premium package lineup to offer differentiated China travel experiences.
An analysis of Kyowon Tour's fourth-quarter China booking data, measured by departure date, showed reservations rose 85.3 percent from the same period a year earlier. China accounted for 23.5 percent of all fourth-quarter bookings, ranking second behind Japan at 30.3 percent.
The flagship product is a four-day Xi'an and Huashan itinerary. The tour operates on Korean Air's direct Incheon–Xi'an route and is structured around a "three-no" policy — no tips, no optional add-ons and no shopping stops. The itinerary covers Silk Road heritage sites including the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, the Terracotta Army, the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter, as well as Huashan, one of China's five sacred mountains.
A four-day Shanghai product targeting younger travelers and families will also be offered. The tour uses Asiana Airlines' Gimpo–Shanghai route for added convenience. Highlights include a nighttime Bund river cruise, the traditional water town of Zhujiajiao, Wukang Road and Shanghai Movie Park, along with visits to major urban landmarks such as Xintiandi, Nanjing Road and the Shanghai Tower observation deck.
"As demand for China travel grows, customer preferences are diversifying — from historical experiences to urban tourism," a Kyowon Tour official said. "We will continue to expand our premium products to reflect the characteristics of each destination and the needs of our target customers."
