North Gyeongsang Technopark said Friday that its Artificial Graphite Application Technology Research Center supported the opening of affiliated company booths at the North Gyeongsang Province pavilion of Carbon Korea 2026, held at COEX Magok from Wednesday to Friday.

The booth support was organized to promote advanced research equipment in the artificial graphite and nano-carbon sectors, as well as the center's track record of supporting and connecting leading carbon materials and components companies in North Gyeongsang Province.

Companies participating in the exhibition included Apex Intec, Woosung Advanced Materials, Woosung Powertech, Irang Industry, DY, A-jin Industry, Carbolab and NTP.

The center showcased results from several projects carried out by North Gyeongsang Technopark with provincial funding — including a national commercialization support project for innovative carbon industry technologies, a core preliminary technology development project linked to nano-carbon composite materials and components demonstration, and various joint research and development initiatives in the artificial graphite and nano-carbon fields.

President Ha In-seong of North Gyeongsang Technopark said advanced carbon materials such as artificial graphite and nano-carbon are critically important as future strategic materials. "We will continue to nurture promising carbon companies by supporting the development of leading technologies in these fields," Ha said.
