The Korea-Japan Future Partnership Foundation and the Korea Enterprises Federation announced Thursday they will co-host the Korea-Japan Career Road Job Fair on Nov. 25 to support mutual employment opportunities for youth from both countries.

The event will be held at the FKI Tower Conference Center and is designed to connect Japanese nationals seeking employment in South Korea, and Korean nationals seeking jobs at Japanese companies operating in Korea, with hiring information and opportunities to meet company representatives.

The Korea-Japan Future Partnership Foundation was established on the basis of a fund jointly created in 2023 by the Korea Enterprises Federation and Japan's Keidanren. The foundation carries out cooperative projects aimed at building a future-oriented relationship between the two countries.

The program will consist of career insight talks and networking sessions. Scheduled activities include presentations by corporate HR managers on hiring criteria and the skills needed to secure employment, as well as panel discussions in which professionals and business leaders who have built careers in both South Korea and Japan share their experiences.

On-site support booths for job seekers will also be available, offering company-specific recruitment consultations, resume reviews, career mentoring, resume photo services and visa and employment advisory services for foreign nationals.

A one-on-one coffee chat session will also be held, pairing pre-matched companies and job seekers for individual conversations about roles and hiring. Job seekers wishing to participate can select the option when registering, and match results will be communicated individually.

Meanwhile, the event's dedicated website will post job listings from companies in both countries seeking bilingual Korean-Japanese candidates through Dec. 6.
