Gyeonggi Province to supply 3,597 units, Incheon 1,702
Mid-tier homebuilders plan to put 5,922 units up for pre-sale across the country in November — a 55 percent increase from the previous month — with 90 percent of the supply concentrated in the greater Seoul metropolitan area.
The Korea Housing Builders Association surveyed its member companies Friday and found that 11 firms plan to offer a combined 5,922 units across 13 project sites in November.
That figure is up 2,103 units, or 55 percent, from the 3,819 units offered in October. By region, 5,335 units — roughly 90 percent of the total — will be available in the metropolitan area. Gyeonggi Province leads with 3,597 units, followed by Incheon with 1,702 and Seoul with 36. Together, Gyeonggi Province and Incheon account for about 89 percent of the total supply.
Metropolitan-area pre-sales rose 62 percent from 3,288 units the previous month and jumped 209 percent from 1,725 units in the same month last year.
Outside the metropolitan area, a total of 587 units will be offered — 539 in Busan and 48 in Jeju. That is up 11 percent from 531 units the previous month, but down 72 percent from 2,092 units in the same period last year.
Among notable projects, Incheon will see 1,110 units in blocks AC3 and AC4 of Kaive Ubora in Gyeyang new town, along with 592 units at Incheon Songdo Daekwang Rosebiane Moaelga. In Gyeonggi Province, upcoming pre-sales include 1,542 units at Hwaseong Hyangnam Lotte Castle Signature, 1,098 units at Hanwha Forena Jije Station, and 695 units across complexes 3 and 4 of GTX Unjeong Central Station City Pradium.
