Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance held its AX Festival 2026 at its headquarters in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on Monday, with all employees in attendance, the company announced Tuesday.

This year's event carried the slogan "ME to WE: From My Experience to Our Possibility," reflecting the company's aim to gather the small AI-driven gains made by individual employees and channel them into broader organizational change. The company said it focused on building a virtuous cycle in which early AI adopters are recognized for their results and their experiences inspire colleagues to take on new challenges — ultimately transforming how the entire company works.

The festival featured an introduction to the company's AX (AI transformation) roadmap, an exhibition of AI best practices, hands-on AI service experiences, and lecture and workshop sessions. An "AX Lounge" set up in the first-floor lobby brought together the company's dedicated AI team and business units to discuss ways to improve workflows using AI.

In the lecture and workshop sessions, employees selected for their outstanding AI use cases took the stage to share their hands-on experience and know-how. Practical programs — including vibe coding and large language model (LLM) application workshops — gave participants a chance to work directly with AI tools and explore ways to apply them in their own roles.

The company has been expanding AI adoption across its operations, having earlier become the first insurer in South Korea to introduce an AI voice bot service for policy loan applications.

In his keynote address, Kim Taek-su, chief technology officer and executive vice president overseeing the technology support division, said AX "goes beyond simply adopting AI technology — it is the process of using it to innovate how we work and deliver greater value to customers." He added that the company would strive to "build a culture at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance where each person's small attempts and experiences inspire colleagues to take on challenges, raising the capabilities and competitiveness of the entire organization, so that we can meet customer expectations and provide the value they deserve."
