Italian luxury automaker Maserati announced Thursday it will launch the Grecale Cristallo special edition in South Korea as a single-unit limited release, with pre-orders now open.

The Grecale Cristallo edition draws its inspiration from Monte Cristallo, one of the iconic peaks of the Dolomites in the Italian Alps. The company said the model reinterprets the pure beauty of snow-capped summits — where light and material come together in sculptural harmony — through Maserati's own design language.

The centerpiece of the edition is an exclusive exterior color called "Azzurro Aureo," created through Maserati's bespoke customization program, Fuoriserie. Rooted in Maserati's traditional blue, the color evokes the crisp, luminous light of the snow-covered Alps.

Subtle gold mica particles are woven into the finish to add depth, embodying the values of excellence, honor and victory that a gold medal represents. A dedicated badge on the fender further underscores the exclusive identity of the Fuoriserie program.

On the exterior, 21-inch "Crio" wheels with a diamond-cut finish and a front grille insert in the body color give the car a refined yet commanding presence. Inside, the cabin is upholstered in premium "Ghiaccio" leather in a bright, pure tone, carrying the unspoiled beauty of the Alps into the interior.

The vehicle also comes standard with a Maserati genuine accessories package that includes self-leveling logo wheel caps, logo valve caps, custom courtesy lights and front floor mats.

Based on the Grecale Modena, the Cristallo edition combines strong performance with everyday driving comfort. It produces 330 horsepower and 45.9 kilogram-meters of torque, accelerating from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.3 seconds.

Gaurav Thapa, head of Maserati Korea, said the Grecale Cristallo edition "embodies the beauty of Italian nature through Maserati's craftsmanship and unparalleled aesthetic sensibility," adding that, as only one unit will be available in the country, "it will offer customers who value artistic worth and rarity a differentiated Maserati experience unlike any other."

Meanwhile, Maserati Korea has been expanding its customer brand touchpoints through a range of marketing activities, including the recent launch of the Grecale Bianco Inverno edition — another limited-run model, with just five units available exclusively for domestic customers.
