Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu has made no secret of his admiration for Aichin, a member of nine-piece girl group A2O LITE.

Jang shared an interview video of Aichin on his Instagram account Thursday, calling it her "signature killer point" and adding, "She gets cuter the more Korean she speaks — seriously."

He also made a surprise confession, writing that Aichin "likes princes more than princesses" and that he would love to have "a daughter like her."

Jang debuted as a JTBC weekend news anchor in 2012 and married in May 2014. He and his wife have two sons, born in 2014 and 2020.

Aichin has earned the nickname "Little BoA" for her charming looks and straight brown hair, which remind fans of the veteran K-pop star BoA.

A2O LITE is a rookie girl group launched by Lee Soo-man, key producer at A2O Entertainment and founder of SM Entertainment.

The group's debut single "NEON" topped Melon's Top 100 chart as of 11 p.m. on Oct. 14, generating significant buzz.

It is rare for a rookie group to reach the top of a major music chart within a day of release.

The track was produced by Yoo Young-jin, who worked alongside Lee Soo-man at SM Entertainment on music for H.O.T., BoA, TVXQ, Girls' Generation, SHINee and aespa.

Beyond Aichin's BoA-evoking image, other members have also drawn attention for their visuals — Oa, for instance, has been compared to S.E.S.'s Eugene and former Girls' Generation member Jessica.

Meanwhile, Jang had previously expressed similar enthusiasm for actor Kim Min after his appearance on MBC's "I Live Alone," saying he "felt like he fell in love the moment he saw him" and marveling at how the show's team manages to "discover such rare individuals."
