Integrated management covers rental asset inspection, leasing, maintenance and returns

PAM-based data framework lays groundwork for AI-driven maintenance prediction

Hansol PNS extends equipment management reach from manufacturing IT to rental sector

Hansol PNS has completed an asset management system for an industrial equipment rental company, expanding its AI transformation business into new sectors. The company plans to apply equipment management technology developed in manufacturing settings to the rental industry, integrating asset operations data and eventually using AI for maintenance prediction and workflow automation.

Hansol PNS announced Thursday that it had completed the SAM (Solutiontech Asset Management) system for AJ Solutiontech.

AJ Solutiontech is an operations and service subsidiary of AJ Networks, a business-to-business rental company. It provides maintenance services for industrial equipment including forklifts and aerial work platforms.

The newly built SAM system was developed on the foundation of Hansol PNS's PAM (Plant Asset Management) platform. Its key feature is the ability to manage the full lifecycle of each rental asset on an individual unit basis — from initial inspection through leasing, after-sales service, return and maintenance.

Asset information that had previously been managed separately at each stage of the workflow is now connected within a single system, enabling systematic tracking of each piece of equipment's history and condition. This gives AJ Solutiontech a data foundation from which to apply AI to field operations optimization and equipment maintenance cycle prediction.

Hansol PNS supplies manufacturing execution systems, plant asset management systems and environmental, safety and health management systems under its smart factory solution brand I'MFACTO. The project marks an expansion of its equipment management system beyond manufacturing into the rental service sector.

This year, Hansol PNS launched I'MFACTO AI Atlas, a manufacturing-focused AI platform, and in August completed software copyright registration for seven manufacturing IT solutions along with patent applications for three core AI platform technologies. The company is broadening its business by linking existing manufacturing IT systems with AI to support equipment anomaly detection, quality prediction and repetitive task automation.

"The SAM project is significant in that it connects the entire rental business process within a single system and enables data-driven management," a Hansol PNS official said. "Going forward, we aim to establish ourselves as a business partner that supports our customers' AI transformation across a wide range of sectors."
