Anti-aging product line set to launch in US and South Korea this month

Rokit Healthcare, an organ-regeneration company, has completed US and Patent Cooperation Treaty filings for a "telomere-protective compound" through its American subsidiary.

Rokit America plans to launch a product line under the brand name "Telomere" in the United States and South Korea this month. The move marks an expansion into an anti-aging platform focused on everyday prevention and management, going beyond the company's core organ-regeneration business.

Telomeres are protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that shorten with each cell division and are considered markers of cellular aging. Whether controlling telomere length alone can regulate aging, however, has not been established. Rokit's strategy focuses not on length itself but on designing conditions that prevent telomere damage.

The compound combines cycloastragenol (CAG) and astragaloside IV (AS-IV) derived from astragalus root, epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea, and vitamin C. The company said the formulation is designed to maintain telomere length under oxidative stress conditions.

"We focused on designing a compound that maintains telomere length in an oxidative stress environment — where free radicals accelerate telomere shortening," the company said, adding that the product will be sold as a dietary supplement in the United States.
