Bentley Motors announced Thursday that it has appointed actor and filmmaker Michelle Yeoh as its new global brand ambassador.

The announcement follows the global unveiling of the Tourbillon, Bentley's fourth model. To mark the appointment, Bentley also released an official portrait of Yeoh photographed by the brand's external creative director, Greg Williams.

Yeoh has long had a close connection with Bentley. Her husband, Jean Todt, is a well-known Bentley enthusiast who owns a 1965 Continental S3, a 2019 Mulsanne and a 2025 Flying Spur Speed First Edition. Through the ambassadorship, Bentley is formalizing that longstanding relationship while strengthening its global ambassador lineup.

Born in Malaysia, Yeoh studied ballet in Britain as a teenager and later majored in theater and the creative arts in Cheshire — about 24 kilometers from Bentley's headquarters in Crewe.

Yeoh made her debut in Hong Kong cinema in the 1980s, drawing attention for performing her own high-difficulty action sequences. She went on to establish herself as a globally recognized actor through a wide range of films, including "Tomorrow Never Dies," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "Crazy Rich Asians," "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and "Wicked."

"From Hong Kong action films to 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' and 'Everything Everywhere All at Once,' I have been drawn throughout my more than 40-year career to characters and stories that stay true to their essence while constantly evolving," Yeoh said. "Bentley is a brand that has done the same — preserving its distinctive craftsmanship and identity while never stopping to push forward. I think we share the same values."

Ben Watham, Bentley Motors' marketing director, said Yeoh — celebrated worldwide as an action star and an icon of the James Bond franchise — embodies the brand's commitment to powerful performance and enduring craftsmanship. "Through this partnership, we look forward to sharing more widely the confidence, individuality and forward-looking spirit that define Bentley today," he said.

Meanwhile, to mark the 20th anniversary of its entry into the South Korean market, Bentley held the Asian premiere of the Tourbillon — its first all-electric SUV — on Friday at Seongbuk Kann Studio in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
