Gangnam-gu will begin publishing a monthly AI education guide this month, consolidating the district's various AI and digital training programs — previously run separately by individual departments — into a single, easy-to-navigate resource called the "Gangnam Monthly AI Learning Map."

Until now, AI and digital education programs were managed independently across multiple departments, making it difficult for residents to get a clear picture of available options or find courses suited to their needs. The district has brought together 280 AI education programs spread across nine departments and strengthened the links between them, so residents can engage with AI and digital learning in a more structured way.

The guide provides comprehensive information on each program — including target participants, course content, schedules and how to apply — so residents of all ages and backgrounds can easily find and sign up for the training that best fits them.

Beyond simply listing programs, the guide is designed to show how individual offerings connect and how learners can progress through them. Information is organized by level, covering introductory digital literacy, AI education focused on everyday practical use, and advanced programs linked to employment and entrepreneurship, helping residents choose courses that match their skills and goals.

Updated monthly with the latest AI education information, the guide will be available in print at educational facilities, libraries and cultural centers across Gangnam-gu, and can also be accessed through the district's lifelong learning website.

"To keep pace with the rapidly changing AI and digital era, we must first create an environment where any resident can easily and conveniently access the education information they need," Gangnam-gu District Mayor Kim Hyun-ki said. "Starting with the Monthly AI Learning Map, which brings together education information that was previously scattered, we will continue to develop and connect tailored education programs that raise residents' digital capabilities to the next level."
