Daegu University's College of Education held an opening ceremony Thursday for "Hopeful Science Bud Festival: 20th Anniversary Special Exhibition" at the Central Museum exhibition hall on the second floor of Seongsan Hall at its Gyeongsan campus.

Held under the slogan "Science for All, Blooming with Hope," the opening ceremony brought together officials from the College of Education alongside representatives from sponsoring organizations — the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT), iM Bank and Ansim No. 1 Community Welfare Center.

The event opened with congratulatory remarks from guests of honor, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Attendees then toured the exhibition space, listened to guided explanations and explored the hands-on educational materials on display.

The special exhibition brings together 20 years of records and achievements, organized into three themed zones: Zone 1: Bud (Past), Zone 2: Flower (Present) and Zone 3: Fruit (Future).

Admission is free, and the exhibition runs through Nov. 27 at the Central Museum exhibition hall on the Gyeongsan campus.

Cha Jeong-ho, dean of Daegu University's College of Education, said he was deeply grateful to the sponsoring organizations for their support in bringing the special exhibition — a compilation of the program's history — to life.
