Programs span four themed categories reflecting the region's coastal character
Honda shares its riding culture and brand experience with customers
Honda Korea announced Monday that it successfully concluded the 2026 Honda Day [Wa Boryeong] event, held Saturday at the Boryeong Mud Expo Plaza in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province.
Honda Day is Honda Korea's flagship customer event, held annually at major cities across the country to strengthen communication with customers and share the company's riding culture and brand experience. Since its launch in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province in 2022, the event has traveled to Chuncheon in Gangwon Province, Gyeongju and Sangju in North Gyeongsang Province, and Yongin in Gyeonggi Province. This year's gathering marked the 11th showing.
The 2026 Honda Day [Wa Boryeong] drew on the distinctive character and appeal of the West Sea coast, organizing its programs into four themed categories: riding (Taboryeong), exploring (Haeboryeong), enjoying (Jeulgyeoboryeong) and eating (Meogeoboryeong).
Under the riding category, a test-ride program featuring 13 Honda motorcycle models proved particularly popular. The lineup included the CB1000F, a retro sport naked motorcycle launched in July, along with the CBR650R and CB650R E-Clutch road sport motorcycles equipped with Honda's E-Clutch system.
A newly introduced program this year, the "Adventure Turtle Race," drew strong responses from participants by offering an unconventional riding experience. Using the CRF300L — Honda's signature adventure motorcycle — and the CT125, a model suited for both everyday commuting and light trail riding, participants competed to navigate an off-road obstacle course as slowly as possible.
The exploring category featured a Honda arcade zone with a variety of mini-games, as well as hands-on activities including an embroidered keyring workshop where participants could incorporate their names and the Honda logo. New additions this year included "Honda Tarot," a session pairing participants with a professional tarot reader to discover their motorcycle compatibility, and a stage recreation program open to all attendees — part of Honda Korea's ongoing effort to refresh the event with new experiences at each showing.
Other facilities included a self-camping zone where participants could relax using their own gear, a Honda Mobility Cafe "the go" zone, and a food zone. A Honda Seller Zone, where products from Honda owner-operated brands were on display, also drew steady foot traffic, as did a sponsor zone featuring Dainese, Alpinestars, Pips Motorcycle and Pirelli Tyre.
The event drew about 2,100 customers in total. Since the series launched in 2022, cumulative attendance across all Honda Day events has reached approximately 12,600, cementing its status as Honda Korea's signature customer event.
"We will continue to expand our touchpoints with customers and introduce programs that let people share in Honda's unique riding culture and the joy it brings," a Honda Korea official said.
Meanwhile, Honda Korea is accepting applications from official motorcycle dealers in southern Seoul through Nov. 30 as part of its efforts to broaden customer brand touchpoints.
