Reservations open Tuesday for sole-occupancy rides
The Wolmi Sea Train, one of Incheon's signature tourism attractions, is reinventing itself — moving beyond a standard ride-on experience to offer an exclusive, fully customizable space reserved for a single group at a time.
Incheon Transit Corporation announced Monday that it will launch "My Own Train," a premium charter product that allows customers to rent an entire Wolmi Sea Train consist, with reservations opening Tuesday. The service is designed to generate new tourism demand during weekday off-peak hours while delivering a tailored experience for each group.
"My Own Train" lets passengers have the entire train to themselves, free from other riders. Up to 44 people can board per booking.
The corporation plans to market the service broadly — targeting corporate MICE events, employee workshops and business functions, as well as private occasions such as small weddings, marriage proposals, birthday parties and milestone celebrations.
To help customers stage a polished event, up to 50 minutes of preparation time will be provided before the train departs. During that window, groups can hang banners inside the train, set up decorations, and check audio and video equipment.
Customers may freely choose their boarding and alighting stations as well as departure time. For those planning surprise events, the corporation will also offer special runs on Mondays, when the train is normally closed, as part of its tailored service.
Outside food is generally prohibited to maintain a clean environment and protect the train's interior. However, light snacks and beverages with a low risk of spillage may be brought on board with prior approval.
Customers wishing to book must submit an application by email at least seven days before their desired date.
Full details are available on the Wolmi Sea Train's official ticketing website and Incheon Transit Corporation's social media channels.
