Buk-gu, Dong-gu and Gijang-gun venues to hold citizen experience events as part of marine culture city age-tech demonstration project
The Busan city government and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency announced Monday they will hold the AI Baengse Maru Festa, a citizen-participation age-tech experience event, at three AI Baengse Maru anchor lab locations in Buk-gu, Dong-gu and Gijang-gun from Wednesday through Friday.
AI Baengse Maru is a permanent age-tech exhibition and experience space designed to let citizens explore AI technology and prepare for a healthy, active life into their 100s. The event is part of the Marine Culture City-Based Age-Tech Demonstration Hub Development Project and was organized to raise awareness of the AI Baengse Maru facilities among the region's middle-aged and senior residents, while giving them easy access to AI-based age-tech products and services in everyday settings.
Each of the three AI Baengse Maru locations in Buk-gu, Dong-gu and Gijang-gun offers 24 types of age-tech products and services — covering AI-based health management, exercise rehabilitation, care robots and cognitive care — along with a wellness zone provided by official sponsor Ceragem, allowing any resident to experience age-tech services firsthand.
The event will run simultaneously at three sites: the Buk-gu location inside Deokcheon Community Welfare Center in Buk-gu, the Dong-gu location inside Haha Center in Dong-gu, and the Gijang-gun location inside Haha Center in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun.
