Aekyung Industrial announced Monday that it has received ISO 37301:2021 certification for compliance management systems from the Korea Compliance Institute (KCI). The certification is valid through Sept. 1, 2029.

ISO 37301 is an international standard established by ISO that evaluates whether an organization has a management system in place to systematically fulfill its legal, regulatory and ethical obligations and manage non-compliance risk.

The certification covers research, manufacturing and sales across lifestyle products — including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap — as well as cosmetics, detergents and quasi-pharmaceutical products such as toothpaste and hand sanitizers. The certified sites include the company's headquarters and Creative Center, both in Mapo-gu, Seoul, its Cheongyang factory in Cheongyang-gun, South Chungcheong Province, and its Daejeon research center in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

The audit was conducted by KCI, which holds accreditation from the International Accreditation Service (IAS), and covered the company's compliance management framework and operational processes.

"This ISO 37301 certification is meaningful in that it represents external recognition of our sustained efforts to build and maintain a compliance management system across all of Aekyung Industrial's operations," CEO Kim Sang-jun said. "We will continue to strengthen the trust of our customers and society through responsible management grounded in adherence to laws and principles."
