About 60 winter appliances across 5 product categories donated

11th annual 'Happy Sharing Bazaar' to use proceeds for welfare facility support

Shinil Electronics announced Monday that it donated home appliances worth 5 million won ($3,710) to the 2026 Happy Sharing Bazaar, held Thursday at Dongbang Pyeongtaek Welfare Town in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

The donated items comprised more than 60 units across five categories of winter appliances, including electric blankets, heaters and humidifiers. The products were sold at the bazaar, with proceeds set to go toward improving living conditions for welfare facility users and supporting welfare services.

Dongbang Pyeongtaek Welfare Town is a comprehensive welfare facility established in Sosa-dong, Pyeongtaek, by the Dongbang Social Welfare Foundation. The facility has provided welfare services to vulnerable residents in the area for more than 40 years, operating a special school, an infant and toddler care center, a residential facility for children with disabilities, and a senior employment support agency.

"We hope this donation of winter appliances, made ahead of the coming cold season, will bring warmth to our neighbors in the community," a Shinil Electronics official said. "We will continue our sharing activities for those in need and fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
