The 36 KPGA Tour players set to compete in the Genesis Championship, co-sanctioned by the KPGA Tour and the DP World Tour, have been confirmed.

The KPGA announced Sunday that it had finalized the 36-player domestic field based on the Genesis Points standings following the conclusion of The Charity Classic 2026. Ninety DP World Tour members will also take part, bringing the total field to 126 players.

The top-ranked players on the Genesis Points list headline the field: Shin Sang-hoon in first, Jung Chan-min in second, Jang Yu-bin in third, Song Min-hyeok in fourth, Choi Chan in fifth, Wang Jeong-hun in sixth, Moon Do-yeop in seventh, Moon Dong-hyeon in eighth, Park Eun-sin in ninth and Kim Chan-woo in 10th.

The withdrawal of Genesis Points No. 17 Kim Seong-hyeon and No. 36 Kim Baek-jun opened spots for No. 37 Eom Jae-ung and No. 38 Kim Woo-hyun. Kim Woo-hyun earned his place by finishing tied for 14th at The Charity Classic with an 11-under-par 277, a result that lifted him five places in the Genesis Points standings to 38th.

"It means a great deal to be entering the Genesis Championship as the Genesis Points leader," Shin said. "I will do my best to put on a strong showing against the DP World Tour players. I hope fans will give all the KPGA Tour players their full support."

The Genesis Championship runs for four days beginning Thursday at Ujeong Hills Country Club (par 71, 7,367 yards) in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province. The total purse is $4 million, with $680,000 going to the winner.

The champion will receive a Genesis GV80 Hybrid vehicle along with two-year playing rights on both the KPGA Tour and the DP World Tour. The winner will also collect 1,300 Genesis Points and 835 Race to Dubai ranking points.

In addition, the top-finishing KPGA Tour player will earn an exemption into next year's Genesis Scottish Open, co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.

The tournament is the final event of the season offering 1,300 Genesis Points, making it a pivotal stage in the race for the Genesis Award and the top-10 standings on the points list.
