Singer and broadcaster Lee Hyori is set to appear on her husband Lee Sang-soon's radio show in a show of support for his return to the airwaves.
The production team of MBC Radio FM4U's "Wanbyeokhan Haru Lee Sang-soon-imnida" announced Tuesday on Instagram that Lee Hyori will guest on the show Wednesday.
The team posted a photo of Lee Hyori alongside the caption: "The 'real' family of Wanha, seen every now and then — we'll be together with 'occasional Hyori,' Lee Hyori."
Last month, Lee Sang-soon was diagnosed with "vagus nerve dysfunction," a neurological condition, and temporarily suspended his activities, including hosting the radio program.
At the time, Lee Sang-soon wrote on his Instagram account that he was taking a break from the radio show on the advice of his medical team, who recommended rest. "They say that with sufficient rest, I can gradually recover, so I will take this opportunity to fully recuperate and come back in better health," he said.
He also reaffirmed his intention to return, saying he would "carefully check my overall physical condition, fully restore my health and come back looking well." He added: "See you soon in good shape."
Lee Sang-soon has since recovered and returned to his activities.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-soon — a singer and guitarist — and Lee Hyori married in 2013.
