BMW Korea announced Friday that it is accepting pre-orders for the updated luxury flagship sedan, the new BMW 7 Series, through Nov. 9 via its online sales channel, BMW Shop Online.

The new 7 Series is the model's first facelift in four years, with changes to design, performance and convenience features extensive enough to rival a full generational update.

In line with BMW's "Power of Choice" strategy, the 7 Series offers a full powertrain lineup spanning gasoline, diesel, plug-in hybrid and battery electric options — making it the only luxury flagship sedan in the domestic market available across all powertrain types. The all-electric i7, in particular, stands as the only imported luxury flagship battery electric sedan sold in South Korea.

The four models available for pre-order are the new BMW 740 xDrive and three all-electric variants — the new BMW i7 50 xDrive, the new BMW i7 60 xDrive and the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive. Prices range from 160 million won ($120,000) to 240 million won depending on the model. Pre-orders opened at 3 p.m. Friday.

BMW Korea has also prepared benefits for pre-order customers. All customers who place an order during the pre-order period and complete vehicle registration by year-end will receive the extended warranty program "Warranty Plus Premium" free of charge, extending coverage to five years or 300,000 kilometers. Customers who finance their vehicle through BMW Financial Services Korea will additionally receive a combined GS Caltex and E-mart mobile coupon worth 1 million won in total — 100,000 won per month for 10 months.

Among customers who pre-order and complete registration by year-end, 100 winners selected by lottery will receive a dinner package for two at Hinotsuki, a Japanese fine-dining restaurant inside the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. The package includes a kaiseki omakase course for two, a 720-milliliter bottle of Hinotsuki signature sake and an Appleore floral bouquet.

Meanwhile, BMW Group is a global premium automaker and motorcycle manufacturer operating four brands — BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad. The group runs a production network of more than 30 sites worldwide and maintains a sales network spanning more than 140 countries.
