Actor Han Ga-in has moved to head off suspicions of undisclosed sponsorships or product placement.

In a video published Thursday on her YouTube channel "Jayubuyin Han Ga-in," Han said every item she features is self-purchased and that no paid product placement is involved. "These are all things I personally bought and collected over the years," she said.

She added that she visits stores or places orders online directly, without discounts arranged through stylists or other industry contacts. "Even the brands themselves probably have no idea I'm wearing their products," she said.

Han said she is aware that many viewers assume the items she wears are luxury goods. "A lot of people think that if I'm wearing it, it must be a luxury brand, so they ask about it thinking it must be incredibly expensive," she said. "But there are so many great products at reasonable prices from Korean designer brands that aren't luxury labels, and those are what I'd like to introduce."

Han also said she buys most of her jewelry in 14-karat gold rather than 18-karat. "I buy it because it's cheaper," she said. "18-karat has more of a yellow tint. I think 14-karat actually looks younger."

Earlier, Han faced allegations from YouTuber Samang Yeowoo TV that she had promoted a health supplement without disclosing a paid arrangement. She pushed back by sharing her own payment records as proof of purchase. The YouTuber acknowledged the error, made the video private and posted an apology.
