Actor Park Ha-sun is stepping down from "Park Ha-sun's Cinetown," the radio program she has hosted for six years.

Her agency, Blitzway Entertainment, announced Wednesday that Park decided to leave her DJ role after extensive discussions with the production team, saying she wants to focus more on her primary career as an actor. Her final broadcast will air Nov. 1.

"Cinetown" launched in 1999 and airs daily from 11 a.m. to noon, specializing in film music.

Park took over as DJ on Nov. 2, 2020, and has spent nearly six years connecting with listeners under the nickname "Candy DJ." Her steady hosting style and candid manner have been credited with keeping her in the seat for so long.

With her radio departure, Park plans to accelerate her acting career.

She is currently appearing in the stage play "The Secret of Flowers" as Monica, and has also been showcasing her wit on variety programs including "Divorce Consideration Camp," "Hidden Eye" and "My Secret Butterfly Effect."

Park made a strong impression with a special appearance in "Filing for Love," the tvN drama series that wrapped in May. Last year, she appeared in the short-form drama series "Useless Love" and "Psychopath Yeo Sun-jeong," and took home the web drama actress award at the 2025 Seoul Con A-Pan Star Awards.
