First company-wide open recruitment since incorporation
Applications open to all experience levels through Oct. 31
Expansion into POS, customer management and broader store operations
Toss Place is launching a triple-digit hiring drive as it expands beyond payment terminals into broader offline store management services. The recruitment is the company's first company-wide open hiring campaign since its incorporation, and is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates.
Toss Place, a subsidiary of Viva Republica (Toss) that supplies payment terminals and point-of-sale solutions, said Monday it will accept applications through Oct. 31.
The drive covers 10 fields: business and sales, data, design, engineering, finance, marketing, human resources, product, security and strategy. There are no restrictions on years of experience, making the positions open to both new graduates and seasoned professionals.
The previous six-month waiting period for reapplicants has been lifted, and candidates may apply simultaneously to other Toss affiliates. The selection process consists of a document review, a job-fit interview, a culture-fit interview and a reference check, with portfolio submissions, assignments or coding tests added depending on the role. Applications can be submitted through the dedicated open recruitment page on the Toss Place careers website.
The hiring push is tied to the company's broader expansion. Toss Place has been extending its service offerings beyond its "Toss Front" payment terminal to encompass POS systems, customer management and overall store operations — moving from the hardware needed to process payments into the software that helps merchants run their businesses.
The number of merchants using Toss Place's payment terminals has also been growing rapidly. Toss Place announced Sept. 20 that nationwide merchants with a Toss Front terminal installed had surpassed 500,000. That figure had crossed 300,000 in March and 400,000 in June, meaning the network added more than 200,000 merchants in six months.
At a seminar for multi-location business operators on Wednesday, Toss Place showcased store growth case studies drawn from its 500,000-merchant dataset. The company also unveiled "Place Insight," an AI-powered research note feature that provides competitor comparisons and location analysis, and said it plans to release the tool before the end of the year.
"Our goal goes beyond being seen as a payment terminal company — it is to redesign every touchpoint of the offline store," a Toss Place official said. "We welcome applications from anyone who enjoys trying new things, regardless of field or experience level."
