Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon attended the 2026 Gangnam Festival on Saturday evening at the Dosan Park intersection, celebrating the event's opening and joining citizens in experiencing the district's diverse fashion, beauty and cultural offerings.
Oh visited the beauty and fashion zone, where companies supported by the Seoul Beauty Hub and Seoul Fashion Hub showcased their products, taking part in demonstrations and hands-on experiences while encouraging the participating businesses. He then delivered congratulatory remarks on the main stage before touring the beer and food zone to take in the festival atmosphere.
"Amid a season of festivals large and small taking place across Seoul — including the Autumn Festa — I sincerely congratulate the opening of this festival in Gangnam, the heart of Seoul, the center of the world," Oh said. "I hope citizens will enjoy Seoul's abundant autumn to the fullest at the Gangnam Festival and create wonderful memories."
Now in its 15th year, the Gangnam Festival runs from Saturday through Monday along Dosandaero and Bongeunsa-ro and other parts of Gangnam-gu. The program features a grand parade, family and K-pop concerts, a fashion and beauty festa, a beer and food festa, an international peace marathon, and a temple music concert at Bongeunsa.
