Sanso Cafe Cheongsong Garden in Singi-ri, Pacheon-myeon, North Gyeongsang Province has established itself as a premier autumn tourism destination. The garden opened on a trial basis in 2021 and officially launched in 2022, with local residents helping cultivate its crape myrtle complex ever since. The site draws more than 100,000 visitors each September and October, and more than 10,000 people visited during this year's Chuseok holiday. Cheongsong-gun County Chief Yun Gyeong-hui said she hopes the garden "gives residents who have struggled through wildfires the courage and hope to rise again, and leaves tourists with precious memories amid Cheongsong's beautiful nature." Meanwhile, Cheongsong-gun will hold the 20th Cheongsong Apple Festival from Nov. 4 to Nov. 8 along the Yongjeoncheon stream near Hyeonbiam in Cheongsong-eup, under the theme "Now Cheongsong! Dyed in Apples."
