A handwritten note posted inside a taxi asking pregnant passengers and those with physical difficulties to speak up after boarding has gone viral online.
A photo of the note was shared on the social media platform Threads on Tuesday, along with the caption: "Driver, wishing you many blessings. It was a pleasure riding with you."
The photo shows the note affixed to the back of the front passenger seat's headrest — written by hand on paper and secured with clear tape. It reads: "Dear expectant mothers and passengers with physical difficulties, please let me know right after you board. I will make sure to drive you safely."
The note conveys the driver's pledge to take extra care whenever a pregnant woman or passenger with a disability is on board, and has struck many readers as a small but meaningful act of consideration.
No details are known about where the taxi was operating or the driver's age.
Online users responded warmly, with comments including "Even the handwriting is charming," "This warms my heart," "What a thoughtful driver" and "A wonderful, everyday hero."
