Daegu's Dalseo-gu district will host a free outdoor concert at Haksan Park on Saturday at 7 p.m., the district office announced Wednesday.

The event, themed "Autumn Welcome Happy Concert," is part of the district's traveling culture concert series.

The series is a community-oriented cultural program that Dalseo-gu organizes in partnership with local artists.

The sixth installment of this year's series will open with singer Ko Gyeol, who is based in Daegu, followed by Kim Hyeong-su, who performs across genres from ballads to pop, trot music singer Hwang Taelja, and mixed live group Vista, known for high-energy performances.

Dalseo-gu plans to hold the final concert of the year on Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Waryong Wit Park.

Dalseo-gu District Mayor Kim Yong-pan said he hopes the concerts give residents a chance to recharge through culture and the arts alongside family and neighbors close to home. "We will continue to organize a variety of cultural events so that residents can easily enjoy culture and the arts as part of their everyday lives," he said.
