Company to participate in Data Centre World Asia 2026 in Singapore

LS Electric will participate in Data Centre World Asia 2026, Asia's largest data center exhibition, to be held over two days starting Tuesday at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, the company announced Monday.

Under the main slogan "Ready Power Infrastructure, Customer-Tailored Solutions," LS Electric plans to present a full-package portfolio spanning extra-high-voltage transformers, medium- and low-voltage switchgear, and direct current (DC) solutions.

On display will be extra-high-voltage transformers and gas-insulated switchgear essential for large-scale power transmission to data centers, along with static synchronous compensators (STATCOM) for grid stabilization. On the distribution side, the company will showcase its modular substation supply capability, which can significantly cut installation time. The lineup also extends to a turnkey offering that includes data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software to support real-time optimization of infrastructure operations.

LS Electric also participated in Elex Vietnam 2026 in Vietnam in July, where it exhibited its data center solutions.

The company's push into Southeast Asia reflects the rapid growth of the region's data center market. The ASEAN region is emerging as a key battleground for global hyperscale data centers, driven by an abundance of available sites, low power costs, and generous tax incentives from local governments. Cumulative investment in the ASEAN data center market is projected to grow from about $10.2 billion in 2023 at an average annual rate of 14.2 percent, reaching $30.5 billion by 2030.

"Building on the technological credibility we have established through our global data center projects and our organic links with local production bases in Vietnam, Indonesia and elsewhere, we aim to become the optimal power partner for the growing number of global hyperscale data center customers in the ASEAN region," an LS Electric official said.
