Jennie has done it again. The Blackpink member has topped the Billboard Radio Songs chart in the United States with "Dracula," her collaboration with Australian psychedelic project band Tame Impala — a first in K-pop history.
According to Billboard's latest chart dated Sept. 26, released Wednesday (local time), "Dracula" by Tame Impala and Jennie climbed one spot from the previous week to reach No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart, which tallies airplay across all genres.
Music data tracker Luminate reported that the song reached an airplay audience of about 62.6 million listeners during the tracking week of Sept. 1–17.
The No. 1 finish marks the first time either artist has topped the Radio Songs chart in their respective careers.
Kevin Parker, the creative force behind Tame Impala, had previously cracked the top 10 as a co-writer and producer on Dua Lipa's 2024 megahit "Houdini," which peaked at No. 7. This is his first No. 1 on the chart — 16 years after his Billboard debut in 2010.
Jennie's achievement is by far the more remarkable. She first appeared on the Radio Songs chart in 2024 with "One of the Girls," a track from the US drama series "The Idol" recorded with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, which peaked at No. 48. "Dracula" is only her second entry on the chart, and she went straight to the top — a milestone that even her home group Blackpink has never reached. The feat underscores her wide mainstream appeal in the American radio market as a K-pop artist.
Released through Columbia Records in the US, "Dracula" is also holding strong on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 5, its personal best. On the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, the track has spent 37 consecutive weeks at No. 1, while on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs it has logged 19 weeks at the top.
Its airplay sub-chart performance is equally strong. The song spent seven weeks at No. 1 on Pop Airplay, which represents mainstream commercial pop, and two weeks atop Alternative Airplay. On Adult Pop Airplay, it has held the top spot for nine consecutive weeks. The numbers confirm the track's crossover reach, spanning listeners from underground alternative to mainstream adult contemporary.
"Dracula" was originally released in October last year as a solo track by Kevin Parker, then reissued as a duet in early February after Jennie joined as a vocalist and co-writer.
