The 50,000th subscriber wins a 50,000-won Naver Pay gift card; 100 winners drawn from all subscribers receive coffee vouchers
Guro-gu is running a sign-up campaign for its district news text alert service from Monday through Oct. 20.
The district news text alert service delivers policy updates, event announcements and lifestyle information directly to subscribers' phones via text message.
The 50,000th person to sign up during the campaign period will receive a 50,000-won ($37) Naver Pay gift card. In addition, 100 subscribers — including existing ones — will be selected by lottery to receive coffee vouchers.
Those wishing to participate can sign up through the Guro-gu Office website by navigating to "Guro Notifications → Guro News → Text Alert Service Application." No separate entry is required, but subscribers must keep their text notification consent active throughout the campaign period.
Winners will be announced on the Guro-gu Office website on Oct. 27 and notified individually.
Guro-gu District Mayor Jang In-hong encouraged residents to sign up, saying the service allows them to receive important information "more quickly and conveniently," and asked for wide interest and participation in the campaign.
