Sogang University Professor Yoon Seok-bin to speak Oct. 2 on 'Smart Life for Seocho-gu Residents Who Command Generative AI'
Lecture covers AI orchestrator concepts, everyday AI agent applications, and building your own AI agent team
Seoul's Seocho-gu will host the third and final installment of its "2026 AI Future Residents Special Lecture" series on Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. in the grand auditorium on the second floor of the Seocho-gu District Office. The event aims to help residents use AI effectively in their daily lives and work and prepare them for the changes ahead in the era of AI transformation.
The lecture series is part of the "Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Project," a joint initiative by Seocho-gu and Soongsil University funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute for Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation. Since March, the district has held three sessions to help residents of all generations understand the social changes AI will bring and build practical skills for using AI in everyday life.
The third and final lecture of the year will be held under the theme "Smart Life for Seocho-gu Residents Who Command Generative AI."
Yoon Seok-bin, a special professor at Sogang University's Graduate School of AI and Software, will lead the session. He is the author of "AI Orchestrator and the Super Solo Enterprise" and "The AI Native Era Is Coming," and will offer accessible guidance on using generative AI more effectively.
The lecture is divided into three parts: understanding the AI orchestrator, using AI agents in everyday life, and building your own AI agent team. It will go beyond simply asking generative AI questions and receiving answers, exploring a new approach in which different AI agents are assigned distinct roles and deployed according to specific goals.
The lecture focuses not on technical expertise or theory but on how residents can use and collaborate with AI in their daily lives and work. The aim is to help even those unfamiliar with AI grasp the concepts and practical uses of generative AI and learn how to apply it to their own needs.
All Seocho-gu residents may attend free of charge. Those wishing to participate can register online via the QR code on the poster by Sept. 28.
"I hope this lecture helps residents become more comfortable with AI and develop the skills to use it in ways that suit their own lives and work," Seocho-gu District Mayor Jeon Seong-su said. "We will continue to create diverse educational opportunities so residents can turn the changes of the AI era into opportunities."
