Coway has launched a new premium air purifier with upgraded air circulation and harmful gas detection. The new product retains the design identity of the Noble Air Purifier, first introduced in 2021, while adding improvements to its filters, sensors and pet-specific functions.

The company said Friday it is releasing two Noble Air Purifier Plus models — one for spaces up to 70 square meters and another for up to 57 square meters. Both feature an "Air Pop-Up" mechanism that adjusts the height of the top unit and disperses purified air in four directions from the top of the device. Users can choose from several airflow modes — including a standard mode for whole-room purification, a diffusion mode, a three-dimensional mode and a quiet mode — depending on the space and situation.

The purifiers use a "4D spatial filtration system" that draws in air from all four sides and passes it through a square tower-shaped filter array. Three filters are positioned on each side for a total of 12. Coway said the system can remove 99.999 percent of ultrafine dust particles as small as 0.01 micrometers. The units also include an internal hygiene function using UV-C LED technology.

Pet-owner features have also been expanded. When pet mode is activated, the device uses airflow to lift pet hair and dust from the floor before drawing them in. With an optional dedicated pet filter, the purifier can eliminate up to 99 percent of hydrogen sulfide — one of the compounds responsible for pet waste odors — according to the company.

The new models have received certification from the British Allergy Foundation and have also been certified by KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, a nationally accredited testing body, for reducing airborne microplastics. Coway said the certification confirmed the purifiers remove more than 99.9 percent of suspended microplastics from the air.

The Noble Air Purifier is Coway's premium air purifier line, launched in 2021. The original models drew on architectural design for their square tower form and four-sided intake structure, and the lineup has since expanded from 50-square-meter and 67-square-meter models to a larger 100-square-meter version.
