Paris Baguette has launched its "K-Pava" Chuseok gift sets ahead of the holiday.
"K-Pava" is the brand vision Paris Baguette unveiled last October. The name elongates the vowel in the brand's nickname "Pava" — a stylistic nod to K-pop — to signal the company's ambition to lead global food culture. The concept blends Paris Baguette's baking expertise with traditional Korean ingredients and sensibility.
This Chuseok, the gift sets carry the message "Annyeong K-Pava" — a traditional greeting meaning hello. The packaging was developed in collaboration with calligraphy artist Kim So-young of Geulssi-dang, reinterpreting traditional Korean aesthetics in a contemporary style.
The flagship products are the "Annyeong K-Pava Jeju Buckwheat Castella," made with buckwheat grown on Jeju and domestic rice malt syrup for a subtle, deep sweetness, and the "Annyeong K-Pava Jeju Green Barley Bread," filled with red bean paste and chewy mugwort rice cake. The packaging features traditional knot patterns and Hunminjeongeum-inspired design motifs.
Several bestselling products are also being refreshed. The "Manwol Bread" returns with added rice malt syrup in packaging bearing messages of encouragement and gratitude. The "Classic Pound Cake" has been reformulated with five dried fruits — raisins, apricots, cranberries, mango and blueberries.
The lineup also includes health-conscious options under the Blue Label range: a "High-Protein Black Soybean Castella" delivering 11 grams of protein from black soybeans, and a "Low-Sugar Fermented Butter Roll Cake" with fewer than 5 grams of sugar per 100 grams. Rounding out the collection are a Lemon Cream Madeleine; the "Baked Goods Atelier" assortment of almond, chocolate and vanilla cookies (in 15-piece and 10-piece sets); a "Happiness Set" combining Manwol Bread and chestnut manju; Jeju Udo Peanut Bread; and the "Titra Atelier Collection," a selection of eight teas including black tea, green tea and herbal varieties.
