Lotte Department Store said Thursday it will become the first retailer to introduce MoveSport, a sub-brand of Descente.

Lotte Department Store recently signed an MOU with Descente Korea to become the first retailer to introduce the global sports brand MoveSport. Under the agreement, the department store will debut MoveSport at its Changwon branch on Sept. 29. It plans to expand the brand step by step, rolling it out at about 10 stores in total by the first half of next year.

MoveSport, Descente's sub-brand, is a comprehensive sports brand offering a wide range of products built around lifestyle sports such as racket sports (badminton and table tennis), volleyball, handball and running. While applying Descente's technology and materials, the brand aims for reasonable pricing.

Its lineup spans apparel, gear and footwear, including T-shirts and down jackets as well as bags, hats and indoor shoes. Stores will be designed under the concept of "Court to street," creating spaces where sports and daily life blend naturally.
