Corporation also attends completion ceremony for Wroclaw logistics center housing Korean firms
The Korea Ocean Business Corporation, or KOBC, said Thursday that it held a "Global Logistics and Supply Chain Investment Support Briefing" on Tuesday (local time) at the Zamek Topacz Hotel in Poland for companies, investors and related organizations in the logistics, port and supply chain sectors.
The briefing follows similar sessions KOBC held in Vietnam in December 2025 and in the United States in June, with Poland marking the latest stop. The sessions are designed to help Korean companies secure overseas logistics hubs in Europe and to provide information on local logistics markets.
The Tuesday briefing covered KOBC's key projects and support programs, along with the current state of its global logistics and supply chain investment funds. It also addressed the outlook for Europe's logistics real estate market and case studies of real estate investment and development across Poland's major regions.
Samsung SRA Asset Management and Capstone Asset Management each presented their global logistics and supply chain investment funds and key assets under management. Global commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield outlined recent trends and the outlook for Europe's logistics real estate market. GS Engineering & Construction then shared case studies of real estate investment and development across Poland's major regions, helping participants better understand the local market.
"Through this briefing, we shared support measures to help Korean companies gain a broader understanding of Europe's logistics market and investment environment, and to secure logistics hubs suited to their business needs," KOBC President An Byung-gil said. "We also discussed various forms of cooperation with participating companies and investors, including financial support and joint investment opportunities tied to Korean firms' expansion into Europe."
Meanwhile, KOBC also attended the completion ceremony for Campus II in Wroclaw, Poland, on Monday (local time). Campus II is a logistics center in Poland leased by a number of Korean companies. Samsung SRA Asset Management is investing in the asset through a global logistics and supply chain investment fund created by KOBC.
