Premium dessert brand Yoajeong said Wednesday that it has launched a new lineup of fall season menu items combining fresh, in-season figs with popular dessert trends. The new menu pairs figs with candied sweet potato cubes and pumpkin injeolmi, a chewy Korean rice cake coated in grain powder.

The "Honey Fig All The Way" and "The Classic Greek Yogurt With Honey Fig" items double the amount of figs in Yoajeong's signature offerings and add honeycomb honey.

The "Figs Are So Sweet-tato" menu pairs figs with candied sweet potato cubes, while "Crispy Pumpkin Injeolmi Sweet-tato" combines pumpkin injeolmi with the same topping. The candied sweet potato cubes reinterpret a bite-sized version of the candied sweet potato dessert that has gained popularity in Japan, particularly among Korean tourists.

As a new product, Yoajeong is also introducing "Yoajeong's Chewy Fluffy Pumpkin Injeolmi," made with glutinous rice from Goseong, Gangwon Province, topped with castella cake crumbs. It can be enjoyed on its own or paired with the brand's yogurt ice cream.

"This fall, we wanted to build a new seasonal menu around in-season figs, combining them with our yogurt ice cream and dessert ingredients that have been drawing attention recently," a Yoajeong official said.
