Woo Min-ho, a private investigator, has spoken out about a series of infidelity cases that unfolded within running crews and other recreational sports clubs.

Appearing on the YouTube channel Jambang TV on Tuesday, Woo recounted cases he had personally handled.

"When I began the investigation after taking on the case, I found that the husband had been attending a running group by the Han River every night and engaging in inappropriate relationships with members," Woo said.

According to Woo, the man met three female members of the same group separately within a single week. After each gathering, he would call the women out individually and bring them back to his home. The women reportedly had no knowledge of one another's existence.

Woo also described infidelity cases that occurred at gyms and other fitness facilities. "A male client found a Jeju Island travel itinerary and flight reservation records his wife had drawn up with her gym trainer on her laptop and asked me to investigate," he said. "I tracked their movements at the same accommodation over the course of a week and secured evidence of the affair."

Asked why such incidents keep recurring in sports clubs and gyms, Woo said activities like hiking and running — where men and women exercise intensely together and look out for each other — often break down people's guard.
