Yeongdeungpo-gu District Mayor Jo Yu-jin joined a morning integrity campaign held Monday on the first floor of the district office's main building, sharing the meaning of integrity with staff as they arrived for work.

The campaign was organized as part of "Integrity Festa," a special integrity awareness week, to build a shared commitment to integrity among all employees and spread an integrity-centered culture throughout the organization. District Mayor Jo greeted staff as they came in and handed out promotional hand cream to mark the occasion.

The special integrity week runs through Sept. 11 and features a range of programs: an anti-corruption education session called "Integrity Live," an "Integrity Cafe" and "Integrity Expo" open to residents, and an "Integrity Self-Portrait" training session for staff who handle civil complaints.

"Integrity in public service is a core value of governance that translates directly into residents' trust," District Mayor Jo said. "To build a Yeongdeungpo that is trusted and transparent, we will make fairness, transparency and integrity the guiding principles of how we run this district."
