Gwangju Bank hosted a ceremony Monday at its headquarters to cheer on two national team athletes ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games — Jo Song-hyeon of the Bitzro Badminton team and Oh Ye-jin of the Tenten Archery team. It marks the first time the bank has produced national team representatives from two of its corporate sports teams at the same time.

Gwangju Bank President Jeong Il-seon presented the athletes with prize money and gifts.

"We hope the sweat and hard work of these two athletes, who will take the Asian stage representing both South Korea and Gwangju Bank, will bear great fruit," Jeong said. "Every one of our employees will be cheering for them with one heart."
