Interactive program blends games and performances to foster a culture of integrity naturally
Guro-gu held its "2026 Integrity Concert with Employees" for all district office staff Thursday at the district office auditorium.
The event was designed to help employees develop a natural understanding of integrity and build a culture of voluntary ethical practice in the workplace.
In the first half of the year, the district conducted rank-tailored integrity education focused on anti-corruption laws and case studies. For the second half, it moved away from conventional lecture-style training and organized a concert-format program combining cultural performances with interactive activities.
The event opened with an "Integrity Talk with the District Mayor" session, where participants discussed the importance of practicing integrity in daily life and shared perspectives on the mindset expected of public servants.
A specialist instructor from the National Integrity and Civil Rights Education Institute under the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission then led an "Integrity Lecture Through Bingo," allowing employees to absorb integrity-related knowledge and real-world cases through hands-on participation. The program also featured magic and mime performances and an a cappella show by professional performers, drawing an enthusiastic response from attendees.
"Integrity is the most fundamental and precious value a public servant must uphold," Guro-gu District Mayor Jang In-hong said. "We will continue to strengthen employees' integrity capabilities through diverse initiatives and education, and work to deliver trustworthy, clean administration for our residents."
Meanwhile, Guro-gu operates an Integrity Promotion Council to foster an ethical organizational culture and continues to provide anti-corruption and integrity education for all staff as part of its broader efforts to spread a culture of integrity.
