Police have arrested a cafe owner after a woman's body was found inside a frozen storage container at a cafe in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

According to police and Yonhap, a report was filed in the early hours of Friday that a woman in her 60s, identified only as A, had gone missing in Seoul.

Officers traced her whereabouts to a cafe in Munsan-eup, Paju, where they discovered her body inside a frozen container.

Police identified the cafe's male operator, identified only as B, as the suspect and arrested him in Seoul the same day.

Investigators believe B confined A inside the storage unit and are looking into the circumstances of her death.
