Spao, a fast-fashion brand operated by Eland World, opened a new "Spao Friends Lab" store in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul on Saturday.
The store spans 330 square meters. It is the third location to specialize in products from the brand's collaborative content line "Spao Friends," following stores at AK Plaza Hongdae and Gangnam No. 2.
Spao has partnered with intellectual property across a range of genres — including characters, animation, artists, games and lifestyle brands. The Seongsu-dong Spao Friends Lab showcases collaborative items that go beyond T-shirts to include pajamas, lounge pants, fleece and accessories.
The store also marks the first unveiling of clothing developed in collaboration with Kito and Puto, characters created in-house by Eland. A do-it-yourself T-shirt customization service is also available. The feature was previously offered as a limited pop-up at The Hyundai Seoul in June and at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil in July, and has since been expanded into a permanent service.
"Visitors will be able to find not only collaborative products but also Spao's popular everyday items, including the lightweight padding Thinlight series, windbreakers, fleece and puffer jackets," a Spao official said.
