Lotte Wellfood announced Monday that its experiential running event "Seolleim Run," tied to its Seolleim ice cream brand, wrapped up successfully.

Now in its second year, the event was designed to combine running with the Seolleim ice cream experience. The company initially planned to recruit 3,000 participants but expanded the field to 3,300 due to strong interest. The race was held as an official timed 10-kilometer event, with Seolleim brand model Kian84 joining the race.

Held Saturday at Misa Gyeongjeong Park in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, the race began at 9 a.m. with participants setting off in groups at three-minute intervals. After the race, a series of post-event activities followed, including a best-dressed award ceremony, a quiz game and a lucky draw.

"Seolleim Run was organized to bring us closer to consumers by adding the cool and fun experience unique to Seolleim to the activity of running," a Lotte Wellfood official said. "We will continue to create diverse experiences that consumers can enjoy together with us."
