Priority booking Thursday–Friday for mobility-impaired passengers; general sales Sept. 7–11 — integrated membership required
Korail will begin selling train tickets for the Chuseok holiday on Thursday, with reservations available through the mobile app Korail+ and a dedicated holiday booking webpage accessible via the Korail website. The tickets cover trains running during the five-day Chuseok period from Sept. 23 to Sept. 27.
This is the first Chuseok booking period since Korail and SR merged, and passengers must complete registration or conversion to an integrated membership before they can make a reservation.
Existing Korail members will be converted automatically, but those registered only with SR must sign up or switch to an integrated membership through Korail+ or a separate webpage linked on the Korail site.
Priority booking for passengers with mobility needs runs Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eligible groups are: seniors aged 65 and older, registered people with disabilities under the Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, veterans eligible for transportation support, and pregnant women.
Priority booking applicants other than senior members must complete a verification process on the dedicated holiday booking webpage.
General sales open to all passengers — including those with mobility needs — from Sept. 7 through Sept. 11, running from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
